Hamad Othman is a Sudanese climate activist, peace and sustainability advocate.
Hamad is The ONE Campaign Champion, Doha Debates Ambassador, World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council Member, Students for Liberty Local Coordinator, and Chatham House’s Common Future Conversations Member.
Hamad is a recent graduate from Cario university, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Public Administration.
Hamad is an alum of Youth Voices Program (supported by The British Council in Egypt), Young Environmental Leaders Program (Supported by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung), Dialogue on Human Fraternity Document Program (Supported by Mediterranean Youth Foundation), The Arab Camp for Innovative and Talented Youth (supported by ALECSO), Youth Impact Studio initiative (supported by PepsiCo Foundation). Hamad is the winner of AYGVN Award in 2023 for founding “Arab Artists for Climate Change Initiative.”
His work focuses on youth participation, community engagement, communication, faith-based advocacy on environmental and climate issues.
