Abdullah Hayek is an independent Middle East analyst and consultant based in Washington, D.C. He is also a Middle East History & Peace Fellow at Young Voices. Previously, Hayek served with The Washington Institute for Near East Policy’s Military and Security Studies Program, specializing in Iranian proxy threats and CENTCOM posture. Hayek’s work has appeared in The Hill, The National Interest, The New York Sun, and RealClearWorld, and he has appeared on outlets including Fox 5 DC, CBN News, Jusoor News, France 24 Arabic, and a range of U.S. radio and podcast platforms. Hayek holds a B.A. in political science from California State University, Fullerton and an M.A. in international relations from San Francisco State University.
