About 

Ahmed Ziad Jlaidi is a Moroccan scholar specializing in international relations, diplomacy, and conflict resolution. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Diplomacy and International Public Service from DePaul University (Chicago), where he graduated with distinction, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, and French Studies from Augustana College.

He has published research on U.S. policy in the Western Sahara conflict and on geopolitical fault lines in South Asia with the Institut d’Études de Géopolitique Appliquée (IEGA). His academic and professional work focuses on multilateral diplomacy, global governance, and regional cooperation.

Ahmed is multilingual (Arabic, English, French, Spanish) and has chaired Model UN sessions, engaged in diplomatic initiatives, and contributed to international projects on circular economy and migration. His current interests lie in advancing cross-cultural dialogue, regional integration, and innovative approaches to diplomacy in the MENA region.
