About 

Arby Kane holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Geology and has a diverse skill set encompassing administration, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and management. Notably, he has taken on pivotal roles, serving as President and Founder of the Council of African Youth in Minerals (CYAM) (www.caym.africa). He has been advocating for compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, addressing gender diversity within the artisanal small-scale and mining sector in general, and promoting the seamless integration of young professionals into the industry.

He is currently working as an exploration geologist and artisanal mining expert, and is co-authoring a book about sustainable remediation for pollution and climate resilience by integrating mine rehabilitation in the context of climate change.
