He perused a career in media as a reporter for “Al Arabi” Magazine, Al Ittihad newspaper, and then Editor for Gulf Defense Magazine before starting as director of research at both and focusing on the interplay between Geostrategy and policymaking in governance, stability, capacity building, and future-proofing.
Mohammed has also worked as Deputy Director of Watani (UAE’s first initiative on National Identity) and is also a founding member of the board of “Bussola Institute” a think tank in Brussels that focuses on the changing and emerging aspects of the partnership between the EU and the GCC member states.
As part of his interest in the emerging geostrategic space of the Arabian Peninsula, Mohammed looks at Iran as part of the development of the area as a major trade artery. This development implies developing a sustainable relationship with its regional neighborhood on the Arabian Gulf, The Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, or the Mediterranean. Iran is a major component of that space and becoming more adaptable to the modernization process will allow it to become part of the future development of the region.

Manel Msalmi is a researcher in Environmental humanities and American studies as well as international politics. She is a blogger on MENA issues at Europablog.She collaborated as an expert on climate change, Arab Spring and gender equality with the European Commission and the European Parliament. She worked as a translator for Human Rights Organizations in Brussels and participated in many projects involving young people in the fight against extremism in Brussels by collaborating on educational projects with France to fight against radicalism and antisemitism.She is a project partner at UNESCO on environmental issues and the fight against climate change since 2019. She is also an advisor to parliamentarians at the European Parliament (Epp)on MENA issues, gender equality and the fight against radical Islam since February 2019.

She has been an active member in the Liberal party in Belgium since 2010 and a candidate in regional elections in Brussels in May 2019.She participated in an EU delegation to Israel in October 2019 together with young European leaders engaged in peace and dialogue in the Middle East and in the fight against Antisemitism and hate speech in Europe. She was also a member of a female delegation to the US congress in July 2022 to promote female leadership in the Middle East and particularly Yemen and the fight against extremism.

She specializes in International Relations at Ceris ULB diplomatic school with extensive research on the Middle East and Iran since 2020.She holds an MA in international politics and she is the author of the book << The Iranian project in the Middle East>>. She is a lecturer at Brussels High school and a guest lecturer at French universities. She collaborates as an independent writer at the European Times ,the Capitol Institute and the Jewish National Service .

She has been organizing Conferences at the European Parliament, liberal party headquarters in Belgium and France together with French academics in Paris School of Business and demonstrations since 2018 She has participated

as a speaker in UN headquarters Geneva to support women’s rights and to advocate for female leadership and minorities rights in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia, Niger, Iran ,Sudan ,Ukraine and in Belgium . She was invited as a keynote speaker in Marrakech Forum Women Life Freedom Film Festival in 2023 in UN headquarters in New York.

She received the Top human rights award for 2018 and was appointed ambassador “Respect zone” in Belgium for the fight against hate speech on the internet at the level of education. She is a contributor and a partner organization with Elnet France and Ambassador of Elnet in Belgium in February 2024.

In 2021 , she was elected as the president of the Liberal women section in Brussels-city and she is the President and Founder of the European Association for the Defense of Minorities.

Najwa Al Saied is a former Researcher at Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) in Abu Dhabi, UAE and was an Assistant Professor at Zayed University in Dubai from 2014-2018

She is a columnist in Al Ittihad (an Arabic language newspaper published daily in the United Arab Emirates) and also columnist in Al Hurra (an American satellite television news channel in Arabic). She is specialized in political and societal development communication geared to modern and tolerant Middle East.She is the author several books and chapters in books: Screens of influence: Arab satellite television and social development, Media in the UAE: creating a national voice, Arab Media Moguls and Handbook on Arab Media, Fashion and women’s sport in the Arab Gulf States, and others.Her book, Twitter Diplomacy Before and After the Abraham Accords, will be published in March 2022. She published several articles in Israel Hayom, Jerusalem Post, Jewish Press, the Gatestone Institute, Gulf News, Al Arabiya English website and others.
