Zaki Nuseibeh is the CEO for the Middle East at the Aquila Group, a Germany-headquartered sustainability-focused investment firm committed to avoiding 1.5 billion tonnes of CO₂e across its portfolio’s lifetime by 2035.
Prior to this role, he was a Managing Director at 8F Asset Management and served as a Special Advisor to Aquila Capital. Before relocating to Abu Dhabi, he co-founded Aeon Investments, a London-based, credit-focused investment company. Zaki began his banking career in 2006 and has since held a number of leadership roles across various institutions.
Zaki is also a sports enthusiast and served as Vice Chairman of Oxford United Football Club for several years. He sat on the club’s charity board until 2022 and continues to support several other charitable initiatives, including Football for Peace.
Born and raised in Jerusalem, Zaki completed his education in the United Kingdom. He holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and a PGDip in Financial Strategy from Oxford University.
